Lilith Performance Studio 2007

At the performance festival Lilith by Night, changes were made to the bodies of the staff, the volunteers and the artist. A make-up artist applied abscesses, burns, birthmarks and scars, crutches and a wheelchair were used, as well as a fake hunchback and a fake stomach and buttocks. An actor working in the entrance stuttered. The work explores the view of normality and what is considered to be deviant.

Vid performancefestivalen Lilith by Night gjordes förändringar på personalens, volontärernas samt konstnärens kroppar. En maskör applicerade bölder, brännskador, födelsemärken och ärr, någon fick använda kryckor eller rullstol, eller fick med hjälp av en löspuckelrygg, lösmage och lösrumpa en förändrad kroppsform, och en skådespelare som arbetade i entrén stammade. I verket utforskas synen på normalitet respektive det som anses avvikande.
